Ear acupuncture

This treatment stimulates acupuncture points on the external ear using needles.

The ears have on them points that relate to different areas on the body as e.g. the feet and the hands do for use in reflexology.

This enables the practitioner to work on these points to affect the systems which are out of balance.

This treatment has its roots in Chinese medicine system. Ear acupuncture is used to treat and prevent a wide range of diseases and complaints from smoking to overeating, migraines, stress and obesity and is particularly effective for irregularities in the women’s menstrual cycle.
